(PRESS RELEASE) ACAMPO, CA — Rescue Dog Wines announced that 10% of sales from its online store during October will be donated to animal rescue organizations directly supporting rescue and recovery of animals affected by the devastation brought by Hurricane Helene.
Inspired by their beloved rescue boxer Daisy, co-founders Blair and Laura Lott created Rescue Dog Wines with a passion for high-quality, premium wines while at the same time activating a mission to place as many dogs in need into loving homes as possible. As part of the brand’s commitment, 50% of its profits are given to rescue dog organizations nationwide, with total donations reaching $100,000 as of October 2024.
With roots in the Southeast and as current Atlanta-area residents, Hurricane Helene’s path hit very close to home. “Hurricane Helene’s devastation is staggering, and we are committed to doing whatever we can to help the animals directly impacted by the storm,” says Blair Lott. “Our purpose is to promote pet rescue, and we are working as a team to organize ways to take swift action when those animals are in dire circumstances.”
Rescue Dog Wines partners with over 100 shelters and organizations across the country to help rescue, rehabilitate and rehome dogs in need. In the Helene affected area, one such organization is Friends of Madison County Animals. If you represent a rescue organization and would like to be considered as a partner, please complete the Donation Request Form here.
