Ryan Yamka, PhD, confirmed Thursday that he has left Guardian Pet Foods. He oversaw research and development, formulations from concept to marketplace, supply chain issues, food safety and quality control at the company. When reached for comment, Yamka referred all questions regarding his employment at Guardian to his attorney.
As to his current plans elsewhere in the industry, he pointed to his roles as senior strategist at Do Good Foods and advisor at Bond Pet Foods. Yamka says he will be announcing a new additional role early next year.
