(PRESS RELEASE) SHOREVIEW, MN — Simply Paws Design announces the launch of its first litter box ramp system that not only helps keep litter from tracking but helps cats with mobility issues get in and out of their box. This first-of-its kind innovation is the brainchild of Patti and Kevin Weber, who created this revolutionary ramp that is perfect for all cats:

• Captures tracked litter and dust
• Minimizes mess and the amount of time you have to clean your litter box area
• Premium quality, long-lasting scratcher inside the ramp
• Strong, lightweight, durable and easy to use
• Eco-friendly: safe for humans, cats and the planet

The ramp is made of USA sourced premium, corrugated cardboard manufactured in the United States from 100% recycled fiber—a sustainable resource. It’s printed with water-based inks and adhesives that are environmentally responsible. Best of all, the ramp is recyclable and biodegradable.
Each ramp contains an outer tray and an inner scratcher ramp and has dimensions of 18″ x 8″ x
6″/3”. An actual litter box is not included.

The couple’s tuxedo cat Ripley was the inspiration for the ramp and tested the many prototypes. Willow, their recently adopted kitten, accepted the ramp with ease, and used it immediately. The ramp’s MSRP is $34.99 and is currently sold on the company’s website. However, Simply Paws Design is looking to place the new ramp in brick and mortar and online retailers. About Simply Paws Design

Patti and Kevin Weber wanted to create a product that is healthy for pets and safe for the environment, all while having great form and function. The start of the Purrfectly Clean Paws Ramp began in 2018 and was designed to be not only cat-centric but cat-parent friendly. The couple have chosen to source and manufacture their products as locally as possible to their hometown of Minneapolis, Minn. As consumers of pet products themselves, the Webers take the responsibility of providing high-quality, durable, and safe products very seriously.

NASC Media Spotlight

At first it was just an idea: Animal supplements needed the same quality control that human-grade supplements receive. But that was enough to start a movement and an organization —the National Animal Supplement Council — that would be dedicated to establishing a comprehensive path forward for the animal supplements industry. In this Media Spotlight interview, NASC’s president, Bill Bookout, talks to PETS+ interviewer Chloe DiVita about the industry today: Where it’s headed, what’s the latest focus and why it’s vital to gain the involvement of independent pet product retailers.
