Pet Care Services Educational Conference and Trade Show Set for October




(PRESS RELEASE) The International Boarding & Pet Services Association announced that early bird registration for the association’s Sixth Annual IBPSA Pet Care Services Educational Conference & Trade Show is now open. The pet care services industry business event, happening Oct. 2-4, 2018, in St. Louis, MO, is dedicated to bringing fresh ideas and smart insight to educate and inspire the owners, managers, and key employees of pet boarding and daycare facilities, pet sitters, veterinarians, groomers, trainers, and more working in the pet care services industry. 

The conference’s keynote presentation will be by acclaimed speaker, author, and mediator Debra Vey Voda-Hamilton, who has been featured in and on Today, New York Times, Bloomberg, Forbes, Wall Street Journal, U.S. News and World Report, Reuters and The Huffington Post. Additional speakers include Joel Silverman of Animal Planet fame, plus Arden Moore, whose podcast “Oh Behave,” with more than 700,000 people tuning in from all over the world, was recently picked by as one of the top three pet podcasts “for people who are obsessed with animals.” 

“Along with Debra, Joel, and Arden, all of our speakers will bring the information and inspiration that pet care providers need to succeed,” said Carmen Rustenbeck, founder and CEO of IBPSA. “Given the explosive pace at which this industry is growing and with the squeeze of increased competition, it has never been more vital for pet care business owners to make sure they have the cutting edge education to maximize profits and plan for the future.”

The conference will be accompanied by an industry trade show and, for even deeper dives into areas of interest, the conference will be preceded by four pre-conference workshops happening Sept. 30 through Oct. 1, 2018, at the same location.

“With the summer busy season just ahead, once again October will be here before we know it,” said Rustenbeck. “Give yourself something to look forward to just on the other side of summer and make plans now to meet us in St. Louis.”
