(PRESS RELEASE) Ashleigh Industries announces the launch of PupAlert, the Doggie Potty Alert System, which harnesses technology to act as a communication bridge between a dog and its owner.

When paired with an integrated training system, PupAlert allows for a pup to inform an owner it needs to go out. When a dog approaches the chosen door, the Doggie Potty Alert device sends a message to any smartphone or tablet linked to a free app. The app informs the owner that his pup is waiting to go out. The app also allows customizing and managing a dog’s schedule.

The easy-to-install system includes a device that is attached to any wall near the desired door and a tag that attaches to a dog’s collar.

NASC Media Spotlight

At first it was just an idea: Animal supplements needed the same quality control that human-grade supplements receive. But that was enough to start a movement and an organization —the National Animal Supplement Council — that would be dedicated to establishing a comprehensive path forward for the animal supplements industry. In this Media Spotlight interview, NASC’s president, Bill Bookout, talks to PETS+ interviewer Chloe DiVita about the industry today: Where it’s headed, what’s the latest focus and why it’s vital to gain the involvement of independent pet product retailers.
