(PRESS RELEASE) GREEN BAY, WI – Vital Essentials has taken its award winning VE RAW BAR merchandise display with freeze-dried snacks to new levels. The new display will feature a freestanding rack that holds 12 bulk containers and product, offering a 360-degree shopping experience for pet parents. The display rack can be placed center aisle, by the cash register or alongside a wall. Shoppers can rotate each rack arm to find the products they’re looking for with ease.

“Our award-winning VE RAW BAR has undergone a significant makeover,” stated Melissa Olson, marketing director. “Many retailers loved the concept of the VE RAW BAR, but were tight on space to display the bulk containers. With this new unit, retailers have the flexibility to place the unit anywhere in the store.”

There will be two new VE RAW BAR Snacks included with the new display – Freeze-Dried Duck Hearts and Freeze-Dried Bully Twists. “Our consumers and retailers alike have been asking us to add a larger heart option to our lineup and have been looking for a more substantial chew, and we delivered!,” commented Olson.

VE RAW BAR Freeze-Dried Snacks are only available to independent pet stores and are not available to online resellers. This combined with the new freestanding display offer pet stores a unique value proposition and interesting way to engage with their shoppers. “The VE RAW BAR is a great way to start a conversation about raw feeding its related health benefits with pet parents,” Olson said. “Each of the freeze-dried snacks supports oral health and mental stimulation for cats and dogs at a very attractive price point.”

This second generation VE RAW BAR will be featured at the Global Pet Expo on March 20-22, 2019 in Orlando, Florida. Retailers are encouraged to stop by the Vital Essentials booth #621 to learn more about the display and the incredible margins that can be attained.

NASC Media Spotlight

At first it was just an idea: Animal supplements needed the same quality control that human-grade supplements receive. But that was enough to start a movement and an organization —the National Animal Supplement Council — that would be dedicated to establishing a comprehensive path forward for the animal supplements industry. In this Media Spotlight interview, NASC’s president, Bill Bookout, talks to PETS+ interviewer Chloe DiVita about the industry today: Where it’s headed, what’s the latest focus and why it’s vital to gain the involvement of independent pet product retailers.
