Vet Named Pet Industry Woman of the Year

Veterinarian, author and radio show host Judy Morgan of Naturally Healthy Pets took the title of Pet Industry Woman of the Year at an awards ceremony taking place at Pet Connections Expo in Oaks, PA.

The sixth annual awards were presented by Women in the Pet Industry Network, an organization focused on women igniting leadership in others.

In addition to the overall award, women were honored in five categories:

Morgan is an author and holistic veterinarian certified in acupuncture, food therapy and chiropractic care for dogs, cats, and horses. She is a speaker and blogger at both the local and national levels. She integrates Eastern and Western medicine in her two award-winning veterinary practices in New Jersey. She is host on the DreamVisions7 radio network with her show NATURALLY HEALTHY PETS and has been featured in more than 100 radio and television interviews. Morgan is passionate about working with senior pets and pet rescue, currently serving on the board of directors for Monkey’s House Senior Dog Hospice and Sanctuary. She shares her home with Hue Grant, seven spaniels, four cats and five horses. She is currently developing a full line of holistic wellness supplements for dogs and cats.

“Judy will be an outstanding Pet Industry Woman of the Year,” said Shawna Schuh, president of Women in the Pet Industry Network. “She is a respected professional in the veterinary field whose sole focus is on the health of pets.”

Headquartered near Portland, OR, Women in the Pet Industry Network serves leaders who are making a difference in the pet space. Members come from all categories within the pet industry, from groomers and veterinarians to pet sitters and pet boutique owners.
