This episode of Pets+ Live! featured Mark Klaiman of Pet Camp in San Francisco. It’s the city’s largest family-owned pet care facility at 30,000 square feet, and it was the first certified green pet care facility in the country.

Pet Camp’s green initiatives include a $280,000 solar panel system, some “BigAss” fans and even a program for composting dog poop! Its services include day and overnight care, bathing, training, transportation and even a “Cat Safari” with a one-of-a-kind safari solarium.

The webinar took place on Jan. 17. Watch the replay:

NASC Media Spotlight

At first it was just an idea: Animal supplements needed the same quality control that human-grade supplements receive. But that was enough to start a movement and an organization —the National Animal Supplement Council — that would be dedicated to establishing a comprehensive path forward for the animal supplements industry. In this Media Spotlight interview, NASC’s president, Bill Bookout, talks to PETS+ interviewer Chloe DiVita about the industry today: Where it’s headed, what’s the latest focus and why it’s vital to gain the involvement of independent pet product retailers.
