(PRESS RELEASE) LISBON, OHIO (June 6, 2018) – Ohio-based BrightPet Nutrition Group, whose portfolio of natural, super-premium pet food brands includes Blackwood®, Adirondack and ByNature®, will showcase its updated Adirondack formulas and new packaging during SuperZoo, June 26-28 in Las Vegas, Nevada at Mandalay Bay.

The Adirondack line features two indoor cat food recipes and four dog recipes, including formulas for small breeds and weight management. Each limited-ingredient recipe is grain-free and crafted with four select ingredients to deliver optimal nutrition for pets with sensitivities. The portfolio contains recipes with a variety of fresh meat protein sources as the number one ingredient to help consumers find the ideal product for their pet. None of the foods contain potato, and all the dog recipes are chicken-free.

The dog food recipes will be available in four-pound, 12-pound and 25-pound resealable bags. The two cat food offerings will be available in three-and-a-half-pound and 11-pound resealable bags.
Each recipe includes nutrient-rich ingredients such as coconut oil for skin and coat support and fava beans, which are high in vitamins and minerals. The formulas are all slow cooked to help enhance the overall flavor, increase nutrient absorption and aid in digestion.
“Our slow-cooking process provides the benefits of greater palatability, increased digestibility and more nutrient availability,” added Golladay. “An independent study conducted by Kansas State University proved the slow-cooking process creates a higher starch conversion, which can lead to increased stamina and energy.”
The new Adirondack pet food will be exclusively sold at independent pet retailers around the country beginning in the fall.
