Buddy Valastro Pets to Launch New Treat Line

(PRESS RELEASE) HARVARD, IL – Buddy Valastro Pet partnered with The Pound Bakery to launch a new and improved pet treat line this month. This new line includes several new flavors and recipes inspired by Buddy Valastro’s Italian dishes and bakery items.

“Buddy Valastro’s Italian heritage and baking background are the inspiration behind the new flavors that will be launched,” said Lexie Berglund, President of The Pound Bakery. “We wanted to create palatable treats for dogs that are inspired by classic Italian entrees and desserts.”

The newly designed line includes savory flavors inspired by Italian dishes including Chicken Parmesan, Pizza Bites, and Pork & Chicken Meatballs.

All of the dog treats in this new and improved line are free of wheat, corn and soy and feature a limited number of ingredients. The line also includes a Grain Free Chicken Recipe. These new recipes will allow pets with sensitive stomachs and allergies to enjoy the savory treats as well.

These new treats are now available online at BuddyValastroFoods.com as well as in Food City stores. The brand also has plans to be placed in 400-600 grocery store locations by the end of the summer.
