Celerant Expands Integration with ASTRO Loyalty

(PRESS RELEASE) STATEN ISLAND, NY – Celerant Technology, the #1-ranked retail technology provider of 2022, expanded its existing integration with ASTRO Loyalty, a company committed to helping independent pet retailers drive customer loyalty and store sales. Celerant’s existing point of sale integration with ASTRO provides pet shops with access to exclusive frequent buyer programs, and streamlines the rebate process with manufacturers. The latest addition to the integration connects the point of sale to ASTRO Offers, coupons and rewards- helping pet stores further increase value for customers and grow overall revenue.

Automate manufacturer rebates at the point of sale

In 2020, Celerant integrated with ASTRO Loyalty to make it easy for pet shops to offer rebates to frequent buyers, and receive rebate credits from manufacturers. The point of sale alerts the cashier if a customer is eligible to receive a rebate, and automatically sends transaction data to ASTRO, eliminating the need for pet shops to manually scan and manage rebates in a separate system. ASTRO offers rebates only to independent pet stores from 1000s of popular pet brands, including NutriSource, Primal, Fromm Family, Taste of the Wild, Champion Pet Foods, and more. Several brands require pet stores to offer rebates through ASTRO Loyalty.

Increase revenue with exclusive promotions, coupons and rewards

Celerant now integrates with ASTRO Offers, providing pet shops with hundreds of monthly brand-sponsored BOGOs and promotions, as well as many exclusive coupons and loyalty programs. Through Celerant’s back-office software, retailers can access the latest promotions and coupons from Astro Offers’ Promotion Engine, and select the incentives they want to offer in-store. ASTRO automatically transforms punch cards and coupons into a digital format, and automatically captures and transmits transaction data to the manufacturers immediately – enabling pet stores to sell more products, and receive redemption credits faster.
