(PRESS RELEASE) Los Angeles – Hollywood has gone to the dogs … literally. On Saturday, May 6, 2017 at the CBS Studios in Studio City, celebrities of all ages will come out for a day of community service, working along an assembly line packing 500 “Rescue Starter Kits” for newly adopted rescue dogs in California.
The kits will be filled with toys, treats, chews, grooming supplies and more; and will be delivered to Rescue from the Hart, a Los Angeles-based organization whose emotional rescue videos garner the attention of millions of viewers worldwide. Rescue from the Hart will distribute the kits to new rescue families, foster families and other rescue organizations in California.
The event is hosted by Hot Diggity Media, a content creation company that helps brands increase their reach through the Hot Diggity Awards seal-of-approval program, editorial opportunities and celebrity events. “We are so grateful to the pet product companies that have generously donated their products for the ‘Rescue Starter Kits,’ says Hot Diggity Media General Manager, Julie Kertes. “I’m equally thankful for our sponsors, WowWee Toys and CBS Los Angeles; along with our celebrity volunteers who each year, not only work hard along the assembly line, but also help raise awareness for great causes and organizations like Rescue from the Hart.”
