(PRESS RELEASE) The International Boarding & Pet Services Association (IBPSA) invites pet care services professionals to register for the 2024 FLOW Business Conference, which will take place from Tuesday, September 24 through Thursday, September 26 at the beautiful Westin La Paloma Resort & Spa in Tucson, Ariz. Designed for business owners and decision-makers in the pet care industry – including providers of pet boarding and day care, grooming, training, veterinary and dog walking services – the conference features a packed schedule of targeted education, trade show access, networking opportunities, the annual presentation of IBPSA’s Pet Care Business Excellence Awards (the IBBYs) and more.

Pre-conference programming will begin on Monday, September 23, with sessions including Pet CPR and First Aid, Heroes for Healthy Pets, Construction Playbook for Success, Human/Infant CPR & AED Training, and an Emergency Preparedness Plan workshop. On Tuesday morning, the conference will officially launch with a keynote session entitled, “Navigating Success with the Power of Knowing Your ‘Why.’” Presented by Dr. Adam Christman, chief veterinary officer of dvm360 and Fetch Conferences, the opening keynote will inspire attendees to ignite purpose in both life and in business. On Thursday, the conference will close with another keynote presentation by Joe Calamusa, founding partner of a training and consulting firm called Sales & Leadership Development Group (SLDG). In “You are Your Hero,” Joe will discuss the role that making mission-driven decisions plays in the living autobiographies we write every day.
In addition to the pre-conference programming and keynote presentations, attendees will be able to choose from a variety of sessions on topics including leadership, business and staff management, animal care and more. FLOW Business Conference sessions are approved for continuing education (CEU) credits by the Professional Animal Care Certification Council (PACCC). Attendees will also have plenty of time for networking and browsing the trade show, which will feature several providers of products and services relevant to the pet care industry.
While IBPSA Membership is not required to attend the FLOW Business Conference, those who are members will receive a discounted rate depending on membership type: ticket prices range from $500-575 for members, while the price is $675 for non-members. Tickets include access to all educational sessions, networking opportunities, the trade show floor and the IBBY Awards, prize giveaways, discounted hotel room rates at the venue, lunches and snacks, and a special app designed to optimize the conference experience.
