(PRESS RELEASE) COLUMBIA, MO — Metro Paws is the Taxi & Takeoff Sponsor for Unchained Melodies Dog Rescue, a local Columbia non-profit, at its first annual Tie & Tails Gala, happening Thursday, December 7th, 2023 at the Columbia Jet Center.
Since its inception, Metro Paws has been dedicated to aiding the pet community nationwide. They created the Love & Licks 501(c)3 Foundation, a special line of products that donates a portion of proceeds to low and no-kill shelters. Whether it’s through their products or partnerships with local organizations, Metro Paws is committed to saving as many pets as they can, one paw at a time. This year, the company is the Taxi & Takeoff sponsor of the Unchained Melodies Dog Rescue Tie & Tails Gala.
“We’ve been part of the pet industry for nearly 15 years and always want to do more for the animals. We’re constantly asking ourselves how we can help with local rescue efforts. We’ve witnessed the amazing work that Unchained Melodies does in Columbia and knew right away that we wanted to be involved,” says Lindsey Testerman, VP of happiness at Metro Paws. Testerman also serves as a board member for Unchained Melodies, so after a day of ensuring stores have their Metro Paws goodies, Testerman works tirelessly to help the pets of Missouri.
Unchained Melodies was recently awarded the #1 Non-Profit of Columbia. The Tie & Tails Gala will feature food and drink, local celebrities, a fashion show, and a silent auction to help Unchained Melodies in their ongoing rescue, rehabilitation, health, and education efforts.
