Nov. 7 Webinar Addresses Sustainability Strategies for Retailers

PETS+ and the Pet Sustainability Coalition have teamed up to bring you a webinar on sustainability strategies for retailers. The online event takes place Thursday, Nov. 7 at 1 p.m. Eastern.

This is the second in a two-part series on the subject. The 2019 “Trends in Sustainability” report showed more than 90 percent of pet industry professionals expressing increasing expectations for sustainable business practices, and of all sectors, retailers reported the most behind. The coalition will unveil data behind the increasing consumer demand for sustainable products, what retailers have to gain from connecting with these purpose driven consumers, and a new PSC program to make finding these products easier for retailers.

In part two, you’ll learn:

  • The primary areas of business return for retailers practicing sustainability
  • How PSC-accredited sustainable pet companies are improving the communities and environments where they do business
  • How to get involved with the PSC retailer-facing Positive Impact Program bridging the gap between products and consumers to meet current and increasing demand
  • Where to find the coalition’s community of companies actively measuring and improving their environmental and social impact
