Pet Product Firm Buys Group of Odor and Stain Removal Brands

Cosmos Corp. has acquired a group of pet odor and stain removal products, the St. Louis Business Journal reports.

They’re sold under the names Urine Off, Zorb-it-Up and Urine Buster.

Cosmos Corp., which makes TropiClean pet grooming products, bought the pet odor and stain removal products from North Carolina-based Bio-Pro Research.

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

“Our companies share a common goal to innovate products for the enrichment of pets and their people and we welcome the opportunity to expand into the cleaning category with established brands,” Landon Hobson, CEO of Cosmos, was quoted saying.

Hobson said the new products will “expand our reach and enable us to grow within the pet industry.”
