Pet Treat Maker Plans $2M Expansion

PetDine, a pet treat manufacturer in Fort Collins, CO, is spending $2 million to expand with a new building.

The company bought a 10,000-square-foot building that will house its headquarters, the Coloradoan reports. The Dog Pawlour, a canine spa and day care owned by PetDine, will also move into the structure.

PetDinemakes treats for private labels such as Costco’s Kirkland brand. The company’s sales total about $1.8 million per month.

Preston Munsch, who runs the company, expects sales to be as high as $40 million next year, according to the Coloradoan. The revenue growth is driven by pet parents spending more on their companions.

“People want high-quality ingredients and they’re willing to pay for it,” he was quoted saying.

PetDine also makes CBD oil and hemp animal products through Denver-based Therabis.
