PSC to Support Retailers and Manufacturers at SuperZoo

(PRESS RELEASE) BOULDER, CO — SuperZoo is right around the corner, and to find out more about the most sustainable brands in the pet industry, the Pet Sustainability Coalition (PSC) will support. During the show, PSC will be showcasing its top accredited brands, sharing new sustainability resources for retailers, and launching an exciting program to help manufacturers reduce their use of plastics. Participants can visit the Pet Sustainability Coalition booth #3775 any time to meet with one of PSC’s team experts. There are member companies throughout the show floor displaying the PSC Accreditation logo to learn from, or people are invited to attend PSC-hosted events to hear about new groundbreaking programming and reconnect with the sustainability community.

Booth #3775 – A one stop shop for all things sustainability – Accredited Brands

The Pet Sustainability Coalition’s booth at SuperZoo features products from companies that have achieved the Pet Sustainability Accreditation. Accredited companies have assessed the impact of their business operations, undergone a rigorous third-party verification process, and are committed to annual improvement. This year’s product selection is focused on two key areas of impact. The Earth Defenders are the top ten scoring companies on environmental focus areas. The Social Stewards are people champions, having the top ten scores on social impact measures. Retailers can come by the booth for an efficient way to find verified sustainable brands that will meet growing consumer demand.

NEW Sustainability tool for retailers

PSC and IndiePet have partnered to create a new, easy-to-use sustainability guide for retailers. The guide helps businesses understand key areas for improvement in both social and environmental impact. The guide features suggestions for product selection, facilities improvement, employee engagement, DEI, and more. The guide is a free tool for retailers and is available at the PSC (#3775) or IndiePet (#3874) booths.
