This Pet Company Thinks Your Dog Should Eat People Food

(PRESS RELEASE) MONROE, WA – More than 20 years ago, Wet Noses Natural Dog Treat Company disrupted the pet food industry and kick-started the human-grade pet food movement with a simple golden rule – If you wouldn’t eat it, you shouldn’t feed it to your dog. The company was founded in response to the undesirable byproducts, fillers and manufacturing processes typically used in mass-produced dog food. Today, human-grade pet food has caught on in a big way, with consumer trend data showing that pet parents increasingly read labels and select pet food and treats that align with their pets’ health and wellness needs and their personal values. As Wet Noses continues to innovate and raise the bar to give pet parents what they want, the rebranding highlights the 100% human-grade, organic, non-GMO qualities of Wet Noses’ dog treats and a company that lives its values from farm to food bowl.

New Packaging Highlights Product Claims

Wet Noses colorful new packaging brings the 100% human-grade factor front and center and calls out that the treats are USDA Organic Certified and Non-GMO Verified without corn, soy, dairy, preservatives, or artificial ingredients.

“Human-grade claims are quickly growing in popularity and Wet Noses is one of a few dog food brands to offer products that qualify as 100% human-grade,” said Johnni Rodgers, chief executive officer for Wet Noses Natural Dog Treat Company. “We designed a new brand look and feel that places priority on the 100% human grade distinction and evokes all of the product attributes today’s pet parents want.”

Wet Noses partnered with Team Creatif USA and CMO Graphics Inc to bring the new branding to life. Team Creatif led the original concepts and design, and CMO Graphics helped incorporate the design across the entire brand portfolio, on all product packaging and the website.

100% Human-Made and Truly Dog-Worthy

Wet Noses is a female-founded, female-led company of nearly 100 dog-loving foodies. Dedicated bakers bring to life tasty, one-of- a-kind recipes in the company’s human-grade, Safe Quality Food (SQF) Level III certified kitchens just outside Seattle, Washington. The company is committed to sustainability and sources high-quality ingredients as close to home as possible, with manufacturing processes that are energy efficient, nearly paperless and incorporate recycling and composting.

Wet Noses treats include a variety of premium flavors like Pumpkin & Quinoa, Peanut Butter & Molasses and Apple & Ginger, and are available in 14-ounce packs, bulk, training treats and as individually packed big bones. The treats can be found on the shelves of pet specialty retailers nationwide and online via Amazon and wet-noses.com.
