About Psittacus

Psittacus Catalonia is a company founded in 1998. Its initial objective was the breeding of African Grey Parrots (Psittacus erithacus erithacus), creating one of the largest breeding centers in Europe. It soon began to develop products for its parrots, in order to offer the best formulated food for its own birds. And so it was, expanding the development of specific products for avian breeding.

Psittacus has always sought excellence in its formulations to achieve the best results. It has distinguished itself in the world market by developing products for the neonatal stages of birds. It has been able to hand-rear most species of parrots and other birds from birth. For all these reasons, it has made its goal concrete with the creation of the Psittacus Foundation, which develops annual programs to improve and develop products and breeding protocols. Keeping Birds in general has a positive effect on the health of the humans.
