Veterinary Group Acquires 5 Clinics

OLYMPIA, WA —  People, Pets and Vets has expanded to Texas by acquiring five clinics.

The company now includes 28 veterinary hospitals and over 600 employees.

The first Texas veterinary hospital to join PPV was Josey Ranch Pet Hospital, followed by Frisco West Animal Medical Center, North Carrollton Veterinary Hospital, Kingsgate Animal Hospital and Cross Timbers Animal Medical Center.

PPV was founded by Dr. Mike Murphy and was originally located in the Pacific Northwest and Arizona.

Service centers in Washington, Utah and Texas provide strategic services including finance, HR, marketing, operations and IT services.

Murphy opened his first clinic in 1992. In early 2018, Murphy and his veterinarian partners chose a private investor and professional management team to accelerate growth.
