West Paw Announces 2021 ‘Make it Montana’ Winners

(PRESS RELEASE) For the past seven years, Bozeman, Montana-based pet product manufacturer West Paw has offered the chance to win a free trip to Montana to retailer partners who buy and resell their products. This year West Paw announces Liz and Quincy Zikmund of Give a Dog a Bone in Evansville, Indiana as the 2021 Make it Montana winners.

Liz and Quincy won the following:

  • Airfare for two (from anywhere in the USA to Montana)
  • First rate hotel accommodations (five nights)
  • Car rental (It’s a big state, and horses take too long)
  • National Parks Pass
  • Tour of West Paw’ facility
  • Five days to explore the state

“We were totally shocked about winning the contest! We’ve been wanting to make a trip out to Montana for years, but of course running a small business can sometimes make getting away difficult. I can’t wait to get a behind the scenes look at one of our favorite companies in the industry, and to just spend some time exploring and recharging. After the year that 2020 has been for all of us, this is an amazing opportunity and gift,” Liz Zikmund, co-owner, Give a Dog a Bone.

“This popular contest gives all of us at West Paw the opportunity to get to know some of the wonderful people we’ve had the pleasure of working with over the years. The winners of this trip get to see how we make our products using sustainable manufacturing practices, as well as meet the incredible people who brings West Paw to life. We are excited to host Liz and Quincy,” said Andy Wunsch, vice president of sales and marketing, West Paw.

Due to the Coronavirus, West Paw held a digital trade show, SuperZoom. Retailers were invited to schedule online meetings as well as watch videos about our new products. West Paw randomly chose the 2021 Make It Montana Winner out of a group of retailers who placed an order with the company for $500 or more.
