(PRESS RELEASE) Ziwi announces the launch of their first-ever poultry product, Ziwi Peak New Zealand Free-Range Chicken, available in both Air-Dried and Canned recipes for cats and dogs.
The addition of the world’s most popular pet food protein to Ziwi’s premium product line is in response to consumer demand for a free-range poultry option, representing the company’s commitment to remain at the leading edge of pet nutrition and product integrity in the global marketplace.
All Ziwi meats are 100% sourced from free-range New Zealand farms; the chicken used in the new recipes comes from farms which are independently audited and certified as humane and ethically maintained. Free-range foraging ensures a nutritious and highly palatable product.
The family-owned company crafts their signature air-dried recipes in their own kitchens from 96% chicken meat, organs, bone and New Zealand green mussel. The recipe contains no grains, peas, potatoes, lentils or other legumes. Ziwi Air-Dried can be fed as a complete diet, as a nutritious topper, and as a high-value training reward or treat. Air-Dried package sizes include 8.8 lb., 5.5 lb., 2.2 lb. and 1 lb. for dogs, and 14 oz. for cats.
The canned recipes contain a minimum of 91% chicken meat, organs, bone and New Zealand green mussel, combined with essential vitamins and minerals. Ziwi canned recipes are packaged in BPA-free cans, and contain no artificial binders or gums, including guar gum, carrageenan or agar-agar, utilizing only a small amount of chickpea as a natural binder to their meat-rich recipe. Can sizes include 13.75 oz. for dogs, and 3 oz. and 6.5 oz. for cats.
Ziwi uses no rendered meats or meals, no added sugars, glycerins, artificial flavors, colors or preservatives. All Ziwi Air-Dried and Canned recipes are complete and balanced for all life stages and breeds.
