3 Recently Merged Pet Product Firms Unveil New Name

ORLANDO, FL — Three pet-industry firms that recently merged — Hyper Pet LLC, R2P Pet and OurPet’s Company — have unveiled a new corporate name.

The combined company will be known as Cosmic Pet. They made the announcement at Global Pet Expo in Orlando, FL.

The name “captures the ambitions of the combined company whose mission is to lead in the pet industry by developing iconic, trend setting, high quality products that create value for our partners by delivering great experiences for pets and their families,” according to a press release.

Their merger “enabled enhanced product development, operations, sales, and customer service that is unmatched in the pet industry.”

“With an industry leading team, the combined company is now an even better supplier to retail partners, and delivers a superior experience to the pet parent,” said Peter Haabestad, co-founder and managing partner of Guardian Capital Partner, the private equity sponsor leading the ownership group of Cosmic Pet.

“This new name brings it all together, reinforcing our positive momentum and growth, and offers all of our leading brands under one Cosmic Pet umbrella.”
