APPA Recognized by New York Society of Association Executives

The award is for innovation in use of digital technology.

(PRESS RELEASE) GREENWICH, CT – The American Pet Products Association has been recognized by the New York Society of Association Executives with the Digital Excellence Award for visionary innovation in use of digital technology.

“We’re honored to be selected in the Trade Association category for both APPA and Global Pet Expo’s websites,” said Andrew Darmohraj, executive vice president and CEO of APPA. “Our team works tirelessly to ensure that both websites are intuitive and provide a useful, informative experience for our members and show attendees.”

The award recognizes one association in four different categories, including trade, donor, professional and convention and visitors bureau. The criteria for the award are the website’s immediacy of overview, ease of navigation aesthetics, consistency, timeliness of content, internal search capabilities, originality and internet vision.

All award recipients were invited to attend a formal ceremony in April 2017 at the UPPER STORY by Charlie Palmer in New York City. Darmohraj was present and accepted the award on APPA’s behalf.
