(PRESS RELEASE) MISSISSAUGA, ON — Caroline Pettersen, the Senior Territory Manager, Eastern Canada for Pets Global Inc., has been honored with the prestigious 2024 Manufacturers Sales Representative Eastern Region (Ontario & Maritimes) Canadian Pet Community Award from Pets Canada. This marks the second time that Caroline has received this esteemed recognition, having previously won in 2020.
The award was presented to Caroline at the Pets Canada Toronto Industry Show, held on September 22-23, 2024, at the International Centre in Mississauga, Ontario. The event brought together over 2,400 pet professionals, providing them with the opportunity to explore the latest products and technology, gain insights into upcoming trends, engage with international buyers and discuss potential expansion opportunities.
Neil Thompson, Vice President of Sales at Pets Global, commended Caroline’s exceptional dedication and hard work, stating, “Caroline’s hard work and dedication have truly set her apart, and this award is well-deserved. The Canadian Pet Community Awards, presented by Pets Canada, aim to recognize outstanding individuals and businesses within the Canadian pet industry who are members of Pets Canada in 2024.
Nominees for the Eastern Region (Ontario & Maritimes) 2024 Canadian Pet Community Awards were selected based on the highest number of nominations in their respective categories among Pets Canada members. The winners were determined through a voting survey, which was open to the public and promoted on social media and various platforms.
“This award is as much for Pets Global as for me,” said Caroline. “Yes, I do the work, but Pets Global gives me the tools, opportunity, and the space to do my work that allows me to create partnerships with my retail partners.” She added, “To be nominated is a huge honor on its own, but to win this award…I couldn’t be more thrilled.”
