CLAWGUARD Producer Of Home & Furniture Pet Protection Products is Growing

(PRESS RELEASE) CHARLOTTE, NC – Glenn Grooms, a professional with more than thirty-years experience in the pet industry has joined the CLAWGUARD team. He will focus on developing CLAWGUARD’s retail sales strategy.

“The recent success at Global Pet Expo has generated a company growth spurt,” CLAWGUARD Founder Kevin Dixon said. “Adding Glenn to the team as our National Sales Manager made sense to our continued growth in the industry.”

Glenn, who has put in significant time in both regional and national sales positions with Hartz Mountain and Bowtie Press, most recently was a national accounts manager for Tolsa, USA. “I’ve always specialized in new business development, brand-building and growing existing accounts through multiple channels,” Grooms said. “I’m excited to be part of the CLAWGUARD team and to maximize the company’s potential.”

Grooms indicated that, “The driving force behind such a growth industry as ours (pet industry) is innovation and more specifically, innovations that result in solutions.”

CLAWGUARD focuses on simple solutions to common problems faced by dog and cat owners. Since its humble beginnings as a “piece of cardboard and duct tape door shield” to a growing portfolio of scratch protection products, dog and cat owners are finding CLAWGUARD to be the ideal solution to a destructive and anxious pet. Rated as an “Amazon Choice” product, CLAWGUARD has received more than 500 positive reviews from users.

Current products include the Original Door Shield, the Heavy Duty Door Shield for persistent scratchers and CLAWGUARD Protective Tape that shields windowsills,  leather furniture, glass and other commonly targeted areas of scratching. Now available is the CLAWGUARD Furniture Shield for Cats.

Grooms said, “CLAWGUARD certainly checks the box for innovation while being a simple, but extremely useful concept for pet parents who want the best solution for protecting their homes against the damage their furry companions can do. I look forward to introducing the brand to more areas throughout the North American retail market.”

Look for CLAWGUARD in your favorite pet store. If you don’t see CLAWGUARD, ask your retailer to carry it or you can order it online until it’s in your local store.
