(PRESS RELEASE) OVERLAND PARK, KS — GivePet, the pet treat company dedicated to giving back to shelter pets, announced the launch of Santa’s Woofshop and Snowbound Hound, two brand-new holiday-themed dog treats designed to bring seasonal joy to dogs while supporting pets in need.

Santa’s Woofshop and Snowbound Hound are oven-baked treats made with nutrient-rich, whole food ingredients. Santa’s Woofshop features apple and cinnamon flavors, while Snowbound Hound highlights pumpkin and peanut butter. As with every GivePet product, each bag purchased helps support shelter pets in need, creating festive treats that dogs will love during the holidays.

“Holiday traditions should include every member of the family — especially our dogs. With these new seasonal treats, we wanted to create something fun, festive, and delicious while continuing our mission of helping shelter dogs with every purchase. It’s a simple way for dog owners to celebrate the season and give back at the same time,” said Chris Dennis, GivePet Co-Founder.

GivePet is set to have Santa’s Woofshop and Snowbound Hound in stock by late summer. They will also be showcasing the bag designs, along with their full lineup of other dog and cat treats, at Global Pet Expo, taking place March 25-27 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida. Attendees are invited to stop by our booth 1306 or the new product showcase to learn more about GivePet’s mission, products, and 10-year journey of giving back. Pet parents can shop all GivePet treats on their website or find them at select GivePet retail partners nationwide.

NASC Media Spotlight

At first it was just an idea: Animal supplements needed the same quality control that human-grade supplements receive. But that was enough to start a movement and an organization —the National Animal Supplement Council — that would be dedicated to establishing a comprehensive path forward for the animal supplements industry. In this Media Spotlight interview, NASC’s president, Bill Bookout, talks to PETS+ interviewer Chloe DiVita about the industry today: Where it’s headed, what’s the latest focus and why it’s vital to gain the involvement of independent pet product retailers.
