During this nationwide event, animal lovers stay overnight with shelter pets to raise critical funds and awareness for animal welfare organizations.
Both GivePet and Shelter Slumber Pawty share a common mission: to improve the lives of shelter pets by providing comfort, care, and increased visibility – helping them feel safe and loved during their time in shelters and ultimately find their forever families.
In 2025, Shelter Slumber Pawty raised more than $1 million to support shelter animals. This year, 99 shelters across 33 states will participate in the event. In celebration of GivePet’s 10-year anniversary, the company will donate more than 1,000 treats to each participating organization – for a total donation of 10,000+ treats nationwide – helping ensure pets experience comfort, enrichment, and a little extra joy throughout the event.
