(PRESS RELEASE) Healers PetCare has announced a collaboration with The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company to develop a next‑generation performance dog boot, combining Goodyear’s legendary rubber technology with Healers’ expertise in canine boot design and paw protection. The new co‑branded product will feature both the iconic Goodyear Blimp and Healers Pet Care branding.

“For years, dog owners have needed an all-terrain, all-season dog boot that can handle everything from hot pavements and rough trails to snow, ice, and city streets,” said Terri Entler, President of Healers Pet Care. “Working with Goodyear allowed us to create an all-purpose boot with a flexible sole and an advanced level of traction. Our popular dog boot design will benefit from additional durability and stability, offering customers a new solution doesn’t exist in the market.”

In addition to the Goodyear-branded exterior sole, the new shoe incorporates insoles made of memory foam, a dense material that softens with body heat, molding to the paw for pressure relief and support. The memory foam insole enhances pad and toe comfort, improves weight distribution and firmly secures the boot snugly in place. This innovative use of memory foam technology is the first of its kind in the dog footwear market.

The boot was developed through a joint design and testing process, combining Goodyear’s advanced rubber compounds and tread engineering with Healers’ deep understanding of canine anatomy, fit, and comfort. The result is a boot that delivers superior grip, long‑lasting wear, and flexible protection while maintaining the comfort needed for everyday use and adventure trekking. By covering multiple conditions, this all-season, all-terrain boot helps dog owners avoid buying multiple styles of footwear.

“The Goodyear name has long stood for dependability,” said George Kahaleh, Global Director, Goodyear Licensed Products. “That trust has been built on the road for generations, and bringing it into the pet space gives dog owners added confidence in protecting their dogs in everyday conditions.”

“This collaboration is about bringing proven human‑grade performance to pets,” said Entler. “Together with Goodyear, we’re redefining what a dog boot can be—something that not only protects paws, but also enhances mobility, confidence, and year‑round enjoyment both indoors and out.”
