(PRESS RELEASE) KNOXVILLE, TN — Huxley & Kent announced a second increase to its beloved Rescue Fund initiative. Beginning January 2025, the Huxley & Kent Rescue Fund will double its monthly donation from $1,000 to $2,000. This marks the second major increase in less than two years, following the boost from $250 to $1,000 in March 2023.
Since launching the Rescue Fund in 2015, Huxley & Kent has partnered closely with its retailers to support a variety of non-profits and rescue organizations, providing monthly donations to pet charities chosen by randomly selected US-based retail partners. To date, the program has
contributed to over 150 charities, addressing diverse needs ranging from wildlife rescues and senior pet care, to providing hay for rescued horses.
“Each month, we’re inspired by the stories we hear from our retail partners about the impact our donations have in their communities,” said Robin Kershner, Founder & CEO of Huxley & Kent. “We believe that being a great partner means going beyond business—it’s about connecting on a deeper level and supporting the causes that matter. Increasing our monthly contributions allows us to extend our reach and support even more incredible organizations making a tangible difference.”
The Huxley & Kent Rescue Fund has been an instrumental part of the brand’s mission to ensure no pet goes without the love, care, or medical attention they deserve due to financial hardships. Through its partnerships with local shelters and rescue organizations, the program helps rehome pets, funds critical medical treatments, and provides essential resources for pets transitioning into new families.
