Jones Naturals Names CEO

He’s been serving as the company’s president.

ROCKFORD, IL – Jones Naturals LLC, a manufacturer of dog treats and chews, has named Joe Wallington, who has been serving as the company’s president, to the role of CEO.

Wallington, who has been with the company since February 2017, will serve in a dual role as president and CEO.

“Over the past year, Joe has already made significant gains in the marketplace for Jones Naturals, both from a sales structure and brand standpoint,” said Marshall Cole, chairman of the board of directors for Jones Naturals. “With Joe at the helm, the Board is confident we will continue to see major growth across all of the Jones Naturals brands. Joe is a seasoned, people-oriented brand leader who understands strategy and driving business results while at the same time preserving the Jones family legacy of providing best-in-class dog treats and chews – all 100% born, raised and sourced in the USA.”

Jones Naturals is employing a multi-channel brand strategy that recently included expanding the company’s Jones Natural Chews and The Country Butcher product lines, as well as developing a new brand platform for the flagship Jones Natural Chews line. Jones Naturals is also poised to launch a new brand for the FDM channel this summer.

“I am energized by the opportunities ahead for Jones Naturals,” said Wallington. “The Jones family and everyone on our team who supports the company have helped to propel Jones Naturals through its most significant growth period in decades, with more on the horizon. I’m just fortunate to help lead the way.”

Wallington has more than 30 years of experience in the consumer products industry. He has held executive positions with Ralston Foods, Purina, PepsiCo/Frito-Lay and Michelin North America. Prior to joining Jones Naturals, Wallington served as a corporate officer and vice president of sales and marketing for Star Electric Vehicles.
