(PRESS RELEASE) New research released from comparethemarket.com has revealed the cat breeds taking the limelight on Instagram, with the most popular being Maine Coon felines.

From analysing Instagram hashtags, it was revealed that the most Instagrammed cat breed in the world is the Maine Coon, topping the leader board with over 7.75 million Instagram hashtags. This was closely followed by British Shorthair, Siamese and Scottish Fold kitties, each with over 5 million hashtags on Instagram.
