Madison Chock and Evan Bates won the Gold in skating team competition and a silver in ice dancing to top off their amazing world championship career.

(PRESS RELEASE) AUSTIN, TX — The Milan Cortina Olympic games have just concluded with an unprecedented gold medal outcome for Nulo’s “Fuel Incredible” team of athlete pet parents. Six gold medals were secured through outstanding performances by speed skater Jordan Stolz who won two golds plus a silver; ice dancers Madison Chock and Evan Bates who landed gold in the figure skating team competition plus a silver; British skeleton racer Matt Weston, who is the first British athlete to gain two golds in a single Winter Olympics; and American freestyle arial skier Alex Ferriera.

Jordan Stolz dominated the speedskating competition with a Gold medal in both the 500 and 1,000 meter speedskating events, and a silver in the 1,500 meter race.

“The commitment, dedication and focus required to step up and perform at this level in front of a global audience is evidence to the strength, talent and resilience of these amazing athletes,” said Michael Landa, Founder and CEO of Nulo. “The stories of their incredibly close relationships with their pets as an integral part of their training regimen and personal wellbeing is testimony to us all about the amazing power of pets in our lives.”

Nulo launched an integrated TV advertising and retail marketing campaign around the Winter Olympics, with eleven athlete endorsers joining its “Fuel Incredible” team and designed to build brand awareness while stoking retail partner store traffic. “There is no one better to credibly tell the story behind superior pet nutrition than these incredible athletes, whose performance and achievements are fueled by the same high dietary standards, elite dedication to their sport, and deep love for their pets. said Landa.

But that was enough to start a movement and an organization —the National Animal Supplement Council — that would be dedicated to establishing a comprehensive path forward for the animal supplements industry. In this Media Spotlight interview, NASC’s president, Bill Bookout, talks to PETS+ interviewer Chloe DiVita about the industry today: Where it’s headed, what’s the latest focus and why it’s vital to gain the involvement of independent pet product retailers.
