Pet Entrepreneur Gets 700-Store Distribution Deal After ‘Shark Tank’ Appearance

A national chain loved her canine meal bar.

An appearance during Season 6 of Shark Tank has paid off big for Kristina Guerrero, an Air Force veteran who developed an on-the-go meal bar for dog.

She struck a deal with Shark Daymond John in which he bought a 35 percent stake in her company for $100,000. But that was only the beginning for her product, called TurboPUP, CNBC reports.

As the video below explains, PetSmart soon took interest in TurboPUP, and Guerrero was soon had a deal to put the product in hundreds of stores nationwide.

Guerrero is now targeting sales of $1 million.
