Pet-Food Retailer Grows With Acquisition, Now Runs 86 Stores

It bought a store focusing on healthy foods.

The purchase of a store in Wheaton, IL, brings Bentley’s Pet Stuff’s total number of locations to 86, the Daily Herald reports. 

The company acquired Natural Pet Market, a company founded 15 years ago by Tracy Werner. Werner will work for Bentley’s in the role of training director.

She said the two company’s had the same values.

“It’s all about quality, health, and lifestyle with them,” she said of Bentley’s owners.

Lisa Senafe, owner of Bentley’s, said Werner’s expertise “will help train more than 400 employees and educate thousands of pet owners,” according to the Daily Herald.

Bentley’s has stores in 11 states.
