CHARLES, IL – PetAirapy, LLC, (PetAirapy), announces that June 2018 marks the tenth anniversary since its founding as a manufacturer of non-toxic ultraviolet germicidal (UVGI or UV) sanitizing technology for the animal care industry. PetAirapy was the result of founder Annette Uda’s quest to find an effective, non-toxic solution for her Shih Tzu, Tasha, who suffered for years from environmental allergies including sores, ear infections, loss of hair, and more. When steroids, medicated shampoos, and antibiotics failed to deliver lasting relief, Annette was prompted by her veterinarian to figure out a way to control the source of the environmental allergies. Her extensive research and passion to help Tasha led Annette to UVGI and its ability to purify the air and surfaces of not only of allergens but also disease-causing pathogens.

Since its founding in June 2008, PetAirapy has grown exponentially.
