(PRESS RELEASE) SÃO PAULO, BR — PremieRpet continues to solidify its position as a global leader in companion animal nutrition through active participation in the European Society of Veterinary and Comparative Nutrition Congress (ESVCN), a non-profit organization advancing veterinary nutrition through research, education and cross-disciplinary collaboration.

An official sponsor of the ESVCN Congress since 2019, PremieRpet has played a key role in shaping dialogue within the veterinary nutrition community. In 2024, the company contributed 17 of the 85 total papers presented, including 15 from CEPEN Pet, its research and innovation center, and two from its Nutritional Development Center (NDC). Demonstrating the impact of this work, a PremieRpet-backed paper earned the award for Best Oral Presentation in the Feline category, presented by PhD candidate Pedro Marchi under the supervision of Professor Thiago Vendramini. This research reflects PremieRpet’s core philosophy of advancing canine and feline nutrition through natural ingredients backed by scientific research.

Beyond research submissions, PremieRpet invests in the future of veterinary nutrition through its Leaders Development Program, fostering partnerships with key opinion leaders (KOLs). In 2023, the program supported Ananda Felix and Luciano Trevizan, followed by Vivian Pedrinelli in 2024.

Building on this momentum, PremieRpet returned as an ESVCN sponsor in 2025 with an expanded presence. The company submitted nine new scientific papers, including eight from CEPEN Pet and one from its NDC, for both oral and poster presentations. Additionally, Stephanie Theodoro and Ananda Felix joined the 2025 Leaders Development Program.

PremieRpet further strengthened connections within the veterinary nutrition community through its Coffee & Science initiative, a curated series led by nutrition specialist Andressa Amaral that fostered meaningful dialogue and collaboration with attending KOLs.

“ESVCN is a critical platform for advancing veterinary nutrition science,” said Fernando Maluf, Executive Vice President of PremieRpet. “Our continued investment in research, talent development and collaboration underscores PremieRpet’s long-term commitment to evidence-based nutrition and supporting the professionals shaping the future of pet health.”
