(PRESS RELEASE) RICHMOND, VA — TDBBS announces its certification to SQF Food Safety Code Edition 9, Section 32: Pet Food Manufacturing, a Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) benchmarked food safety program. The company received a grade of “Excellent,” the highest attainable designation offered by the program.

TDBBS is celebrating formal recognition of its industry-leading Food Safety and Quality Programs. The SQF code enforces best practices, good documentation and continuous improvement of areas including hazard analysis, critical control points (HACCP), sanitation, hygiene, product safety testing, process monitoring and supply chain oversight.

The company believes this “seal of approval” provides additional confidence to customers that TDBBS is promoting and fostering an effective Food Safety Culture and Good Manufacturing Practices within its operations to always provide safe, legal, and high-quality pet treats, chews, and goods.

Since 2008, TDBBS has been proud to offer the widest selection of high-quality natural dog treats and chews available. Our top priorities are your dog’s health and safety; that’s why our products undergo rigorous laboratory testing before reaching our USDA and FDA-inspected facility. We believe pets are family and they deserve quality ingredients just like us.
