(PRESS RELEASE) GOLDEN VALLEY, MN — TEEF for Life, the innovative dental company providing at-home dental solutions for cats and dogs, has discovered new findings from a collaborative observational study conducted with exotic animals at the Como Zoo in Saint Paul, Minn. In the study, select zoo animals—including snow leopards, orangutans, sea lions and gorillas— received TEEF by adding it to their food. By six weeks, stool sample analyses showed notable downstream benefits such as measurable improvements in gut health and inflammation markers.
Other observations discovered:
- Significant increases in beneficial gut bacteria were found in treated orangutans.
- Decreases in inflammation markers was noted in stool samples from snow leopards, orangutans, and gorillas
- There were overall improvements in health indicators across all species studied.
