Tick Solutions Global, headquartered in New York City with international distribution, was co-founded in Spring 2023 by former Magnolia Bakery CEO and entrepreneur Steve Abrams and his daughter Olivia Abrams. The Abrams family dealt with the chronic effects of Lyme disease following Olivia’s diagnosis at the age of seven after a summer at camp in the Hudson Valley when her knee became severely inflamed. Study participants reported an average of three tick encounters and some as high as 70 tick encounters over a six month period. A study last year by Dartmouth also revealed that an estimated 1 in 2 ticks are carriers of Lyme disease.
