More than just a family of furry monster characters, Rowdies are for dogs that refuse to go easy on their toys.
“Most dogs love to tug, shake and chomp on fuzzy plush toys with squeakers, but many standard plush toys tear apart easily,” said Spencer Williams, CEO of West Paw. “Our new and improved Rowdies are built for rough play, with reinforced fabric that resists ripping and chew-tough paws. The new family of Rowdies includes six monster characters, Astrid, Bjorn, Helga, Olaf, Rolf and Sven. The background of each is embellished on the product packaging, bringing its story to life and helping consumers connect with their Rowdie side. They also feature a hidden squeaker for added engagement and are machine washable and dryer safe.
For extra durability and sustainability, Rowdies incorporate HardyTex tough plush fabric reinforced with a mesh backing, as well as durable, recyclable Zogoflex plastic paws and IntelliLoft stuffing made from recycled plastic bottles. They have rounded seams, embroidered eyes and no small parts or choking hazards. And they’re ethically sewn at a woman-owned factory in Indonesia and finished by West Paw in Bozeman.
The new Rowdies are available in three colors, Melon, Seafoam and Citrus, and retail for $17.95 to $29.95.
