INDIAN TRAIL, NC — 2 Hounds Design has joined forces with Yellow Dog Design, based in Greensboro, NC.
The acquisition “not only unites two innovative powerhouses but also celebrates the preservation of local manufacturing and craftsmanship in North Carolina,” according to a press release.
2 Hounds Design, founded in 2003, is known for its pet accessories, including the Freedom No-Pull Harness as well as collars and leashes. Yellow Dog Design, established in 2001 by Mike and Don Dempsey, boasts a portfolio of patterns and designs and creates “production art on dog products.”
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

The strategic merger of these two homegrown enterprises aligns seamlessly with their shared commitment to pet well-being and individualized expression.
