(PRESS RELEASE) American Nutrition, a custom manufacturer that produces pet food and treats for branded companies and retailers, made a donation of $5,000 to Hazle Township Fire and Rescue to help buy a new rescue truck. The donation was made in the name of the company’s Hazleton, PA. manufacturing plant, Vita-Line Pet Products.
“Firefighters from Hazle Township Fire and Rescue play a huge role in helping the community on a daily basis,” said CEO and President Bill Behnken. “As a company who experienced that support and commitment first-hand, we are grateful to be able to give back and show our support for all they do.”
The donation will help Hazle Township Fire and Rescue purchase a heavy rescue truck that will respond to industrial accidents, motor vehicle accidents and also rescues that require ropes.
News of the donation was picked up by local newspaper, The Hazleton Standard-Speaker.
