Amy Schiek founded Lucky Dogs in 2008, working solo at her pet sitting and dog walking business. She has since added mobile dog grooming — in the adorably named Bubble Bus — as well as a pet boutique and five employees. Husband Patrick joined the company in 2018, and the couple now shares their work and lives with black Labs Caoimhe and Saoirse. They consider themselves lucky, but hard work and business savvy deserve much of the credit.
