IRVING, TX — Animal Supply Company announces the promotion of Tim Batterson to the roles of president and CEO. Don McIntyre, former CEO, has accepted a position as CEO for another company outside of the pet industry.
Batterson joined Animal Supply Company in 2014, most recently serving as its chief operating officer. He brings more than 30 years of experience in sales, marketing, IT, manufacturing, purchasing, logistics and distribution.
“I’m excited to work with my ASC teammates in this new role to expand our innovative product portfolio, distribution services and digital solutions to best serve our brand and retail partners,” said Batterson. “Animal Supply Company is financially stronger and better positioned for future growth than ever before.”
McIntyre said, “I have every confidence the Company will continue to excel under Tim’s leadership. ASC teammates share a passion for pets that I know will continue to ‘Deliver Success’ for the Company and its customers.”
In August, the company announced a capital investment from an existing institutional owner to support growth. ‘
