When not working as retail manager of The Dog Store and groomer at Your Dog’s Best Friends, Annabell Bivens likes to sew. But even that couldn’t stay solely personal because of COVID-19. She had sewn 500 masks as of press time — the first went to employees, while 405 have been sold to customers. Bivens also sews dog bandanas, including the one worn here by her senior Siberian Husky, Artemis.
