Beth Stultz-Hairston

(PRESS RELEASE) Beth Stultz-Hairston has been named the president of Pet Sitters International, the world’s largest educational association for professional pet sitters. She assumed this position in January.

As president, Stultz-Hairston will lead all operation areas of PSI, with a focus on business strategy and member experience.

“Beth brings to this position over 15 years of experience with PSI, and I am so honored to have such a dedicated and talented employee succeed me in this role,” said Patti J. Moran, PSI’s founder and CEO. “Beth’s strategic thinking, organizational skills, and innovative ideas and solutions are just a few of the qualities that make her perfectly suited to serve as the second president of PSI.”

Stultz-Hairston began her career with PSI in 2004, shortly after graduating from college. She started in PSI’s member services department and quickly progressed to supervisory roles, most recently serving as PSI’s vice president of marketing and operations.

“Patti Moran didn’t just start a business — she created a new industry built on the values of innovation, professionalism and ethical business practices,” said Stultz-Hairston. “I share her commitment to these values and am excited to continue my journey at PSI in this new role.”

In addition to her responsibilities as president, Stultz-Hairston will continue to serve as the editor of Pet Sitter’s World magazine and Pet Owner’s World magazine. She is also a dynamic speaker and the author of The Professional Pet Sitter’s Startup Guide. Stultz-Hairston received her bachelor’s degree in English from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, as well as certifications in compassion fatigue studies through Divine Mercy University and Regent University.
