Brinsea Products Launches New EcoGlow Brooder with Additional Safety Features

(PRESS RELEASE) TITUSVILLE, FL — Pascale Deffieux Pearce, executive vice president of Brinsea Products, Inc. announces the redesign of their EcoGlow brooders. The new and improved brooder will offer safer, more economical and easy cleaning features. The EcoGlow Safety will be offered in three models which include 600,1200 and 2000 ideal for warming 20, 35 and 50 newly hatched chicks respectively for the crucial first days and weeks.

“We are excited about the upgrades to our EcoGlow brooder as it will provide chicks with a safer environment. Because it runs on low voltage the heating surface can’t get hot enough to burn newly hatched chicks so they can snuggle under the brooder, just like under a mother hen,” said Pearce.

The brooder runs on 12 volt for safety which is more economical than a conventional infrared lamp, using between five and twenty percent of the electricity of a 250 watt suspended lamp.
Contact with the body-temperature heating surface of the EcoGlow Safety brooders is a more natural way of raising chicks than a heat lamp. It avoids the stress of being under light 24 hours a day and the chicks get used to nights and day routines which improves weight gain and feather growth. The EcoGlow Safety brooders have height adjustment for a wide range of chick sizes and its tough plastic and metal construction makes it durable and easy to clean.

In addition to the upgraded safety features, the brooder is made with durable, hygenic ABS plastics protected by Biomaster antimicrobial additives and come with a free clear plastic cover to make cleaning as easy as possible. The protectant is embedded within the plastic itself, inhibiting the growth of harmful bacteria helping to provide the optimum environment for brooding.
