(PRESS RELEASE) MINNEAPOLIS – Bubbly Paws, a self-service dog wash and full-service dog grooming salon, is announcing another franchise location in California, just outside of Los Angeles in the city of Lake Forest, CA. This will be the first Bubbly Paws location in the Golden State.

This franchise location is owned by Brent and Suzette Yunek and is slated to open mid-2023.

“The opportunity to have our own family-run business and implement a proven model that will benefit our community is beyond exciting. We can’t wait to be around other dog lovers and bring the concept of Bubbly Paws to CA,” states Brent Yunek. “We love the brand, mission and leadership, and our area is in need of a grooming solution with the option of self-service. It simply doesn’t exist here.”

“Brent and Suzette are the perfect franchise owners. They are so genuine and have a huge passion for dogs. They are going to be great,” states Keith Miller, co-owner & co-founder of Bubbly Paws. “Plus, they are the 10th franchise owners to sign on and there is something lucky about the number 10, right?”

Bubbly Paws launched their national franchise in September of 2021 and they now have 17 locations in development. Stores will be opening soon in Charlotte, Dallas, Houston, Long Island, Weston (FL), and more.

Bubbly Paws is a one-of-a-kind concept featuring self-service tubs where dog parents can come in, bathe their dog-children, and leave the mess behind. Their bright, ‘bubbly’ feel is modeled after elevated hair salons and, with an array of grooming services, customers have a variety of luxury options to choose from.

Miller and his wife, co-owner Patrycia Miller, opened the first Bubbly Paws location in 2011 after getting fed up with the hair and mess left over after every bath and brushing in their own home with their Bernese Mountain Dog, Roxy. The concept was designed to take the headache out of dog grooming for everyone while retaining the personal touch at bathtime.

NASC Media Spotlight

At first it was just an idea: Animal supplements needed the same quality control that human-grade supplements receive. But that was enough to start a movement and an organization —the National Animal Supplement Council — that would be dedicated to establishing a comprehensive path forward for the animal supplements industry. In this Media Spotlight interview, NASC’s president, Bill Bookout, talks to PETS+ interviewer Chloe DiVita about the industry today: Where it’s headed, what’s the latest focus and why it’s vital to gain the involvement of independent pet product retailers.
